- Arthritis: This program is a water exercise class for those with arthritis and other joint related issues. Instructors are certified through the Arthritis Foundation and the YMCA to teach this class.
- Aquacise: A low impact exercise class designed to increase tone and flexibility with aerobic conditioning. No swimming skills required. This is a shallow water workout.
- Aqua Boot Camp: A physically challenging water workout that will push you to your limits. The focus is on agility, cardiovascular and muscular endurance.
- Aqua Cycling: Focuses on water resistance using speed, intervals, and power for a low impact exercise class. This workout targets the legs, arms and core muscles while providing a full body cardio and strength workout.
- Aqua HITT: This is a high intensity interval training class adapted for the water. It is designed to alternate periods of high intense intervals of an exercise intermingled with periods of active recovery. The goal is to work your way up on your own intensity level and always keep moving.
- Aqua Kickboxing: A cardiovascular class that uses high energy combinations of kicking, punching and aerobic moves designed to keep you moving.
- Aqua Step: A cardio workout using an elevated platform to step up and down while working against water resistance.
- Aqua Yoga/Pilates: A mix of yoga and Pilates movements with a warm-up. This class will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility adapted for the water.
- Aqua Zumba: Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with the traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the aqua Zumba class blends it all together in a safe, yet challenging water-based workout that is cardi-conditioning, toning and most of all- exhilarating beyond belief.
- Deep Water Jog: A moderate intensity, low impact program with a warmup, aerobic workout and cool down. Floatation belts provide buoyancy and full range of motion.
- Silver Sneakers Splash: A water exercise class for members designed by Heathway’s Silver Sneakers. This low impact cardio class helps to improve range of motion and balance. This is a member only program.
- Water Fitness: This class is a combination of many disciplines of water exercise. It has aspects of high intensity and low intensity using different areas of the pool while building cardio-endurance and strength to deliver a well-rounded program.
