SNAP ONLINE FOOD SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE

June 3, 2020 - Ohio SNAP recipients can order food online from a variety of retailers, however, only Walmart and Amazon allow online purchasing with EBT cards. Individuals may choose to have groceries delivered, but federal rules still prohibit using SNAP benefits to pay for any delivery charges. Read more...

When purchasing from other retailers, SNAP recipients will be able to shop online, pick up their groceries in their cars, and swipe their EBT cards from their vehicles without entering the store. However, if a store does not have a mobile point-of-sale device, a SNAP recipient can continue to order online, but pick up the groceries and pay inside the grocery store.
