Volunteer Volunteer

WHY VOLUNTEER?

When you volunteer at the Y, you bring lasting personal and social change. By providing leadership, knowledge and talent, you give people, families, children and seniors, the resources and support they need to live healthy, confident, connected and secure lives.

The Lake County Y relies on the time and talents of many volunteers to fulfill its mission to strengthen communities through healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. For over 150 years, the Lake County Y has served every day, side-by-side with volunteers and neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

IMPORTANT:  The Lake County Y maintains a zero tolerance for child abuse. Criminal background checks and/or other Federal or State screenings, applications and child abuse prevention training may be required depending on the volunteer position.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE LAKE COUNTY Y!
